Fawzia Koofi on Afghanistan women’s rights under Ashraf Ghani

BBC: We heard earlier about the new power -sharing government that’s finally been agreed in Afghanistan.
One of the other struggles that is continuing is for women’s rights. In fact – the new President, Ashraf Ghani says women will be at the centre of his new government. FAWZIA KOOFI ran for election in the Presidential contest – she is also a member of parliament and Chairperson of Afghanistan’s Women, Civil Society and Human Rights Commission.
