Fawzia Koofi is Named one of the tenth Politically Active Afghan Women



Afghan Journalism Body Khabarnama takes a look into the upraising and growth of Afghan women in politics following the removal of Taliban regime and names Ms. Koofi one of the tenth women that became the face of Afghanistan female leaders. The essay marks Fawzia Koofi struggle for the rights of Afghan women and her achievement in regard of creating the bill known as The Elimination of Violence Against Women Law and anti harassment law that forbid to harass Afghan women in street and work place. If the EVAW bill comes into law, it punishes those who practice child marriage, forced marriage and physically abuse of Afghan women.
